2 Killed In Northern Colorado Flash Floods: Sheriff

LARIMER COUNTY, CO — Two people were killed Friday in flash flooding that washed out several roads in Larimer County, authorities say.

Officers responded to a call that a trailer took Buckhorn Road west of Fort Collins around 5 p.m. Friday. Authorities found the trailer around 7:30 p.m. and found that a woman and girl inside the trailer had not survived, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.

Moderate flooding occurred in the Glen Haven area, and the Crystal Mountain and Buckhorn areas experienced extensive flooding, including washed out private bridges and culverts. Buckhorn Road was washed out near mile marker 25, authorities said.
